Caramelized hair how do toners and drabber work ?

how do you lit-enin all shades in your hair my roots r lite brown and the rest is thredifferentnt blond colors im getting ready to put a fehi liteses on the roots some one told me about a drabber does any one no what you mix it with or how toners work i dont wont my natraul lite brown to turn red brassy ccolor i read that a toner wont affect the brown just the blonde if this is true that would be great does any body no how and what to use to get the most time out of hi lites touch ups at home before going to soloon to have the hole head done thanks any sugestions welcome.................................…
