Is it safe to carry Olive Drab green or khaki packs in african countries?

I am going on a safari trip with some freelance backpacking as well. A lot of countries like Zambia and Zimbabwe have bans on camoflage clothing, only military are allowed to wear them. I am worried if I turn up with a military style hiking pack it may also upset the authorities. They are not Camo, just a khaki/Tan color, but still worried. I'd rather not have to buy a complete new backpack system just to pass through these countries
