Rand or Marx? Or is that just an American choice?

Are you asking who's right (neither) or who's worth reading, regardless? Marx is definitely worth reading and influential. Rand is not in that league. IMO she's a piss-poor philosopher and writer and should not be taught in universities. The fact she's so popular in the US doesn't say much about us, I'm afraid.
