What Should I Do With My Hair?

All the girls at my school have goooooorrrrrgous hair and mine is sooooo drab! My head is oval and I have bangs on the side of my face so it looks weird and it's so ordinary!I want to layer it but something els too becuse I want to look AMAZING. I have light skin and a inch or two lowe than my shollder blade. I'm open to bright colors but every time I do that it washes out!HHHEEELLLPP
