Is Moamar Gaddafi a trendsetter in Islamic male fashion?

Have you seen some of the fabulous outfits he wears? Western males tend to dress in pretty drab, boring clothes with little variety. But if Moamar is anything to go by, Muslim males like shopping for clothes and have very extensive wardrobes, right? Do they spend hours choosing the right outfit and gossiping with their friends before they go out?
