What are your thoughts on Ayn Rand?

During her later years she received Social Security. It's very fortunate for her that her own ideas were never put into practice, otherwise she would have been thrown out on the streets to die when she got old. Like most conservatives, she was so caught up in ideology that she never actually realized what the consequences of her own ideas would have been if they were put into action.
