Why does my eyeshadow fade so much throughout the day? Is there anything I can do to avoid it to that extent?

You should buy an eyeshadow primer, it will help the color last. You can buy them at Sephora or Ulta. I'd recommend Too Faced Shadow Insurance, or Urban Decay primer potion. Hope this helps :)
